Jill has a way of making a brutal workout challenging and fun. It's always different and always worth the time, even on the coldest winter nights. We have two children who are members. We came to Dominion when our oldest was struggling with confidence and standing up for himself and our youngest who needed help with impulse control and behavior. I remember reaching out to Coach David as a concerned parent. After our conversation there was one phrase that has stuck with me, “ Just get them through the door and we will do the rest”. Well we walked into Dominion’s doors, one child behind me as I pulled him through their doorway and another ready to take on the challenge. Months later, both kids are making huge strides thanks to Dominion and their fantastic, hardworking, caring, and honorable staff. This isn’t your ordinary mixed martial arts academy...everyone has become family!! Not only are the coaches n teams amazing but the way they teach the kids n life lessons they focus on are instrumental for all kids!! We couldn’t be happier!! Kids love it and it’s fun for them!! FAQs

Do virtual martial arts classes offer the same benefits as in-person classes?

Yes, with one exception. Virtual classes don’t have the same social atmosphere as in-person classes, but they provide the same physical and mental benefits as our regular martial arts classes.

Do I need any special equipment to enroll in a virtual martial arts class?

All you need is loose, breathable workout clothes. You may want a mat as well, but it’s not a requirement. If you already have a uniform from a regular martial arts class, you can wear it.

How can I be sure I’m doing the workout properly?

Our instructors will provide the same detailed instructions and demonstrations they would in a live class. You’ll be able to follow their instructions to ensure you are mastering each skill you learn.

Are virtual classes live or can I set my own schedule?

The classes are available live and for most students, this option offers the ideal experience. However, we recognize that not everybody’s schedule is the same. If you can’t attend the class when it’s happening, we make recordings available, so you can work out on your own schedule.

Will taking a virtual martial arts class help me to lose weight?

It can. The best way to lose weight is to combine a regular fitness routine with a healthy diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables. Your body will respond best to foods that have plenty of nutrients.
